A food service provider is stepping up to provide hot meals to federal workers at the San Jose airport during the government shutdown. The workers haven’t been paid since Oct. 1 and food insecurity is prevalent.

No one should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from. With food-stamp benefits set to end in November, thousands of families will face even greater food insecurity. At Martha’s Kitchen, we’re already seeing more people turning to us for help, and we’re preparing to meet that growing need.
