Who We Serve
The people we serve are people like you and me. We are all one paycheck, one catastrophic illness or one tragedy away from a soup kitchen.
Martha’s Kitchen is made possible by volunteers from our local community. Our slideshow highlights some of our recent helpers. On Thanksgiving we were blessed with a donation of turkeys from the Santa Clara County Association of Realtors, and special guest servers from the San Francisco 49ers, and the San Jose Police Academy. Followed by a wonderful Christmas with special singers, a prime rib dinner, gifts of socks from IBT’s “socks for souls” drive, and more. Thank you to everyone who helped us with their time, talents, and donations through the year!
Martha’s Kitchen Receives Teddy BearsMartha's Kitchen receives teddy bears for distribution by Santa Claus at our annual Christmas Dinner. Shown is Addie De Medeiros with two of the bears she dropped off to Executive Director Edita Cruz.
Forty Niners Players Serve Ice CreamThe Forty Niners work hard in and off the field. Players are shown at right serving ice cream to Martha's Kitchen's clients during the Summer of 2018.
