Second Harvest Food Bank recognized its strong partnership with Martha’s Kitchen in its 2011 Annual Report. Almost 50% of the food we serve comes from the Food Bank. We would be hard pressed to keep our doors open without this kind of partnership.

About Edita Cruz
Shortly after completing her bachelors degree in Business from the University of the Philippines Edita Cruz immigrated to the U.S. in 1974. She spent over two decades of her career in the high-tech industry working at IBM, Apple Computer and Hewlett-Packard. Edita oversaw the capacity building project of Martha's Kitchen along with a supportive Building Committee. As Executive Director of a small non-profit organization, she is also among other things the Development Director, Office Manager, Events Coordinator, Editor of Martha's Kitchen's newsletter, Event Planner, Personnel Manager, Public Relations Officer, etc. Edita has also held various leadership roles in the community. She is a past President of the Phil-Am Community of Gilroy, and Community and Formation Director of the Order of Secular Carmelites in Gilroy, a position she also held in San Jose.
